To Space… and Back

It’s kind of amazing to think about it, but in 2011, Astronauts launched into space from US Soil for the last time. Americans have hitched rides with the Russian’s for the past 9 years. Now, Elon Musk and SpaceX have successfully launched Astronauts to space using Crew Dragon and the Falcon 9 Rocket. And those Astronauts have returned safely to Earth. This paves the way for NASA to contract with SpaceX to deliver more astronauts to the International Space Station. NASA has also contracted with SpaceX to deliver additional cargo using the updated Cargo Dragon 2 capsule later this year.
